Hi, I’m Johannes, a 16-year-old from George. I started fern Studio to help local tradesmen get found on Google. You deal with me directly, and I reply on WhatsApp the same day.
Questions
Do I need a website already?
No. We build a simple one as part of the R500, and register a .co.za for you if you have none.
Who owns the Google listing?
You do. You add us as a manager and we never ask for your password. If you leave, the listing, the reviews and the domain stay yours. The website comes down.
Is there a setup fee or a contract?
No setup fee and no minimum term. It runs month to month. You can cancel any time with no notice, and you are not charged again.
Will I be first on Google Maps?
Nobody can promise a position, and we don’t. We do the work that moves it: a complete profile, new photos, and a reply to every review you get.
What do I have to do?
Send us job photos on WhatsApp and ask each customer for a review. We set up a message you send with one tap. Google may also ask you to film a short video to verify the business.
Do you reply to my reviews?
Yes. We answer four and five star reviews for you. Anything lower goes to you first.
How do I pay?
By card, once a month, through Paystack. Nothing is charged before your site is live.
Do you work with restaurants and guesthouses?
Yes. Those sites are bigger, with a menu and more photographs, so they are R1000 a month.
